Pure London Welcomes 28 Polish Brands to Its International Programme
Pure London, one of the UK’s premier fashion trade events, will take place at Olympia, London from July 17th to 19th, 2022. The event will feature a diverse international programme showcasing fashion collections from over 30 countries, including 28 brands from Poland.
Poland has seen a significant rise in its fashion sector, particularly among micro and small enterprises. These brands have embraced innovation and creativity, pushing forward with high-quality clothing, footwear, and signature amber jewellery. Polish products are gaining global recognition for their modern design, exceptional craftsmanship, and competitive pricing.
Polish brands have received valuable support through the Polish Development Fund Group’s (PFR) ‘Go To Brand’ funding. This initiative subsidizes 50% to 85% of the cost for Polish brands to exhibit at events like Pure London, strengthening their presence in international markets. The Ministry of Economic Development and Technology of the Republic of Poland also actively promotes these brands to enhance Poland’s image and bolster its economy worldwide.
According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology Press Office, “The fashion industry plays a key role in establishing a strong and recognizable Polish Economy Brand. The sector has seen substantial growth in recent years, with increasing innovation and creativity. Our efforts include supporting Polish brands at major trade fairs in various countries, such as the UAE, the USA, Ukraine, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK. These initiatives aim to help entrepreneurs build business relationships and grow globally. These activities are part of the EU project ‘Promotion of the economy on the basis of Polish product brands – Polish Economy Brand,’ and the Go to Brand program is supported by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.”
Melissa Ramage, European Development Manager at Pure London, comments, “The fashion industry has faced many challenges recently, especially in adapting to the new demands of online shoppers. However, it’s clear that face-to-face meetings, shows, and exhibitions still play a crucial role. We’re thrilled to welcome 28 Polish companies to Pure London, where they will showcase their contemporary designs alongside international fashion brands.”
