Salomon is bringing back its beloved XT-Whisper silhouette for 2025, and this time, they’ve teamed up with New York City designer Sandy Liang for a special collaboration. The limited edition release of this iconic trail runner is set to drop next week.
Originally launched in 2000, the XT-Whisper was designed as a women’s version of Salomon’s XT-Hawk, another model that may also see a return later in 2025. After disappearing from their lineup, Salomon decided to resurrect the XT-Whisper as part of their renewed focus on outdoor-inspired fashion. To celebrate the reissue, they’ve partnered with Sandy Liang to give the model a fresh twist.
Liang’s take on the XT-Whisper showcases a soft pink mesh upper, complemented by metallic silver overlays for a sleek look. The design is finished with a bold red outsole, adding a touch of contrast to the pastel tones. The combination of soft colors with sharp accents makes this a unique and stylish offering for both sneakerheads and fashion enthusiasts.
