Nike’s recent Dunk Low releases have clearly been inspired by the rebellious spirit of the punk scene, and the latest colorway is no exception. Continuing this homage, the brand is set to launch the “Doll Pink” Dunk Low, a nod to the punk rock movement that dominated the 80s and 90s.
Over the past few months, Nike has released several Dunk variations that reference punk culture. Among them were the “Dunks Not Dead” edition, which cleverly plays on the punk slogan “Punk’s Not Dead,” and the “CBGB” release, a tribute to the iconic New York City venue that played host to countless legendary punk bands.
Now, the “Doll Pink” Dunk Low joins the lineup as a fresh tribute to this influential subculture. This design features a soft Doll Pink leather base for the upper, while the overlays are adorned with a unique digi-camo or paint splatter pattern in black and tan. To complete the vibrant design, the shoe comes with eye-catching orange laces and Swooshes. A standout feature is the Nike branding on the heel, which is reminiscent of the Sex Pistols’ famous logo, cementing the punk rock influence on this style.
The Dunk Low “Doll Pink” is expected to drop in Summer 2025, with a retail price of $125. It will be available through Nike’s official channels and select retail partners.
This release will be one to watch for fans of both punk music and sneaker culture, offering a stylish fusion of the two.
