Nike ACG is bringing back another classic from its archives this year—the Air Phassad. Originally released in the early 2000s, this model was designed as a streamlined, waterproof option for outdoor enthusiasts. The retro version will debut in a fresh “Cave Stone” colorway this Fall.
The ACG (All Conditions Gear) line is known for its innovative and durable silhouettes, built to withstand the elements. After Errolson Hugh’s tenure in redesigning the outdoor line ended in 2015, the ACG team shifted focus to revisiting and modernizing archived models, while also introducing new styles. The Air Phassad is one of the most anticipated re-releases of the year, with new colorways scheduled to drop throughout 2025.
Nike has recently shared official images of the retro Air Phassad, and the “Cave Stone” colorway stands out with its striking design. The shoe combines dark brown mesh and leather with black ballistic nylon mudguards for a rugged look. The neoprene shroud and inner lining are finished in a soft Aluminum blue, complementing the Swooshes and webbing accents, which complete the unique aesthetic.
The Nike ACG Air Phassad in “Cave Stone” is expected to release in Fall 2025. This rugged, retro trainer, featuring a distinctive lacing shroud and oversized outsole lugs, will be available at Nike and select retailers for $120.
