Nike Dunk Low Gets the Gore-Tex Treatment for Fall 2025

The Nike Dunk has firmly established itself as a key player in the brand’s catalog over the past five years, with countless colorways hitting the shelves. This fall, Nike is taking the Dunk Low in a new direction by introducing Gore-Tex lining to a fresh “Crimson” red edition.

Gore-Tex, a groundbreaking material known for its 100% waterproof capabilities, has long been used in sneakers and apparel to keep us dry, especially during the wet and cold months. Nike frequently incorporates this technology into various models, offering enhanced weather protection for the Fall and Winter seasons. While the Gore-Tex feature has been applied to other iconic silhouettes like the Air Jordan 1 and Air Force 1, it has only been used on a Dunk release once, in a special Medicom collaboration back in 2008.

For Fall 2025, Nike is launching the first-ever in-line Dunk Low featuring a Gore-Tex membrane, making this a widely available release. Early images of the upcoming “Crimson” red pair have surfaced, showcasing two shades of neon red on the upper, with burgundy accents on the laces and heel tabs. The white, molded Swooshes on each side of the sneaker further enhance the design, creating a striking contrast.
