The Perfect Cool-Toned Red Sweater You’ll Adore
I’m still amazed at the attention this cool-toned red sweater has been getting, especially over on Instagram. And honestly, I get it—the color is absolutely stunning. A mix of cool red with a hint of bright orange gives it that perfect pop of luxury and makes it a statement piece like no other.
Sadly, this one is from an older H&M collection, and they haven’t restocked it (big bummer!). But don’t worry, I’ve found some fantastic alternatives that might just do the trick.
Amazing Dupes for the Cool-Toned Red Sweater
-
& Other Stories Puff Sleeve Fluffy Sweater in Red
This sweater is nearly identical to the one I’ve got, both in color and shape. It’s currently on sale, but there’s just one size left, so if you’re into this style, grab it before it sells out. -
Dynamite Clothing Luca Puff Sleeve V-Neck Sweater in Red
Although this version has a V-neck and is a slightly darker red, it still offers that relaxed, puff sleeve style I love. Plus, it’s a great price, making it perfect for holiday shopping. -
KOTN Puff Sleeve Sweatshirt
If you’re looking for something more sustainable, this is a solid option. While the red is a bit darker, the puff sleeve and neckline are very similar to the original. -
H&M Ribbed Turtleneck Sweater in Red
If you’re after something nearly identical to my original sweater but at a lower price, this one’s a winner. It’s slightly shorter but still captures that same cozy, cool-toned red vibe. It also comes in white, which is equally great. -
French Connection Flossy Puff Sleeve Sweater
This one is another fantastic dupe. The red is nearly the same, and the crew neck makes it versatile for a range of temperatures. A great option if you want a more classic, yet still chic, style.
How I Style My Cool-Toned Red Sweater
For me, the key to styling this sweater is to let it stand out as the focal point of the outfit. The color speaks for itself, so I keep it simple. Since it’s so warm, I don’t need to wear anything underneath. I usually pair it with blue denim—there’s something about how these two colors look together that I just love. To add a little sparkle, I’ll throw on some gold jewelry, and that’s my look done.
Since the sweater is thick and warm, I typically wear it without a jacket. But if needed, the structured neck and cropped length make it easy to layer under a coat or a short jacket. And, of course, a red lip just ties it all together—because why not?
