Saucony Unveils the ProGrid Omni 9 Armor Edition

Saucony continues to revitalize its classic designs, and the latest release is an upgraded version of the ProGrid Omni 9, now available as the Armor Edition. This more rugged take on the retro runner features rubberized TPU outer shells, offering enhanced durability for everyday wear.

Over the past few years, Saucony has made significant strides in expanding its collaborations, working with a variety of partners to bring new life to their iconic models. The focus has shifted toward older running silhouettes repurposed for casual use, with the ProGrid Omni 9 taking center stage. This model has seen fresh styles from collaborators like Jae Tips, FootPatrol, and Starcow. The Armor Edition, which debuted in late 2024 with Starcow, is now available to a global audience.

The ProGrid Omni 9 Armor Edition showcases a more rugged design, featuring a nylon mesh base and reinforced rubberized TPU overlays for added strength. This update transforms the shoe into a more durable option for those looking for a lifestyle sneaker that can withstand daily wear. Today marks the global release of three of the five planned colorways. The first to drop are black, grey, and green, with cream and brown styles set to arrive soon.
