Kith is back at it again with exciting new collaborations, and this time, Ronnie Fieg is joining forces with Salomon for an upcoming release of the XT-Whisper retro. Following the success of their “Kithmas” collection with the French outdoor brand, Fieg is ready to bring even more heat in 2025.
Salomon’s trail running shoes have seen a major surge in popularity in recent years, thanks to their rugged durability and distinct, tech-inspired aesthetic. While the brand initially catered to outdoor enthusiasts, many of their most iconic models have now been adapted for lifestyle wear with subtle adjustments. The XT-Whisper, a model originally launched in 2000 as a women’s trail shoe, is the latest archival release to receive the lifestyle treatment, making its return for casual wear.
For this collaboration, Ronnie Fieg is revamping the XT-Whisper with a sleek and clean design. The shoe features a black mesh base with matching black overlays, while metallic silver accents appear on the toes, tongues, and heels. Neon green stripes on the heels and along the sides add a bold pop of color, giving the shoe a modern yet retro vibe.
