Montreal-based design brand JJJJound is back with another exciting sneaker collaboration, teasing a fresh take on the iconic Asics GEL-Kayano 14 for the Spring/Summer 2025 season. This time around, the retro runner gets a sleek update featuring white, silver, and blue hues.
Known for their minimalistic and refined design aesthetic, JJJJound has become a key player in the world of sneaker collaborations. The brand’s partnership with New Balance, which began in 2018, quickly gained popularity, and they’ve since expanded their collaborative roster to include Asics. Their first Asics collaboration dropped in 2022, with two iterations of the GEL-Kayano 14, followed by a GT-2160 release in 2024.
This upcoming release marks the return of JJJJound to the GEL-Kayano 14 for the first time since their highly regarded debut three years ago. The new colorway stays true to the model’s retro charm but adds some new details, like white mesh base layers, silver synthetic overlays, light blue inner linings, and GEL pods. Dark navy blue stripes on the sides bring an additional pop of contrast, giving the shoe a unique twist.
