Montreal-based design studio JJJJound is back with another collaboration with Asics, teasing an exciting new release. Along with a fresh colorway of the GEL-Kayano 14, they’ve given fans a glimpse of their upcoming take on the Asics GEL-Quantum 360.
JJJJound first partnered with Asics in 2022, adding their minimalist touch to the retro GEL-Kayano 14. The result was a hit, with their simple colorways becoming some of the most sought-after sneakers of the year, still commanding high resale prices. This week, JJJJound shared a teaser image showcasing their latest project with Asics, and this time, it’s all about the GEL-Quantum 360.
The brand’s design philosophy is known for its clean, understated aesthetic, often featuring basic color blocking and neutral tones. However, this new release marks a departure from that style. JJJJound’s teaser reveals a completely revamped version of the GEL-Quantum 360, featuring a knit upper with minimal paneling and a midsole inspired by the GEL-Quantum 360 Knit 2. The shoe also boasts embroidered patterns along the sides, creating a wave-like effect, adding a unique texture to the overall look.
Release Details:
- Model: JJJJound x Asics GEL-Quantum 360
- Colorway: White/Cream
- Release Date: Summer 2025
While JJJJound hasn’t yet confirmed the exact release date or pricing, the GEL-Quantum 360 is expected to drop in Summer 2025. Stay tuned for further updates on this exciting collaboration.
