Pharrell Williams continues to collaborate with adidas, and despite his role as the Louis Vuitton menswear director, he’s still dedicated to creating exciting footwear designs. His latest creation, the “Jellyfish” sneaker, is set to make waves when it hits the market later this year.
Since his partnership with adidas began, Pharrell has become known for reimagining classic models and introducing bold new styles. His first significant breakthrough came in 2016 with the release of the Hu NMD, which gave the NMD_R1 a fresh, innovative twist. Since then, he and adidas have continued to push the boundaries, unveiling unique takes on well-known silhouettes, as well as launching entirely new models.
During Fashion Week in Paris, Pharrell showcased his latest work for Louis Vuitton, but it was his footwear that caught the most attention. In a recent appearance, he sported the Jellyfish, a new sneaker that blends futuristic design with chunky runner aesthetics, reminiscent of styles from Balenciaga in the late 2010s. The Jellyfish features a breathable mesh base paired with bold, molded plastic overlays. Glossy Three Stripes embellish the upper, while the midsole showcases various cutouts and shapes, resembling the adidas Response CL.
Pharrell x adidas Jellyfish Release Details
Pharrell’s new Jellyfish model is slated for release in Fall 2025, with a possible drop date of September 15th. Available in a variety of colors including white, orange, and black, the sneaker will be sold through adidas and select retailers. The expected retail price for the Jellyfish is $280.
