Nike’s Air Max TL 2.5 made a comeback last year with its first-ever retro release since its debut in 2006. Now, the iconic model is gearing up for more releases in 2025, with the addition of a sleek “Metallic Silver” colorway coming this Spring.
Over the past couple of years, Nike has been reviving classic models, often teasing them months in advance through their SNKRS Showcase events. One of the standout releases from 2024 was the Air Max TL 2.5, marking the model’s first retro release. Now, Nike is following up with a fresh range of colorways, including the bold new metallic design.
The “Metallic Silver” version of the TL 2.5 embraces a minimalistic and futuristic aesthetic, departing from the more colorful options we’ve seen in recent months. The base layer is a flat silver mesh, paired with matching matte tones on the lining and midsoles. To complete the striking look, chrome Metallic Silver is used on the mudguard cages, Swooshes, and other accents, all outlined in black for a clean contrast.
The Nike Air Max TL 2.5 “Metallic Silver” will be available in Spring 2025. While an exact release date is still pending, it is expected to drop around mid-May. The sneakers will be available through Nike and select retailers, including size?, with a price tag of approximately $180.
