Nike Air Force 1 “Dirty White” Set to Release This Week

Nike is taking a bold step forward with its .SWOOSH imprint, blending digital and real-world products in innovative ways. This week, they are unveiling a unique edition of the Air Force 1 in “Dirty White,” a shoe designed to get cleaner the more you wear it.

The concept of wear-away sneakers has become a familiar trend in recent years, first gaining attention in the late 2010s. Nike’s initial exploration of this idea came through their collaboration with Stranger Things, where shoes transformed as their outer layers wore off. Now, .SWOOSH is getting in on the action with this fresh take on the classic Air Force 1 silhouette.

The “Dirty White” version of the iconic Air Force 1 takes a new approach to the wear-away trend. The shoe starts with a “dirty” appearance, featuring dirt and stain graphics on the surface. As you wear them, these marks gradually disappear, revealing a pristine, all-white AF1 underneath. While Nike hasn’t fully explained the process behind this reverse aging design, it’s certainly an intriguing concept to see in action.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Dirty White” will be available on May 7th, 2025. This unique edition, which cleans itself over time, will be exclusive to US customers via the SNKRS app, with a retail price of $130.
