Air Jordan 4 “Washed Denim” Set for August Release

After their successful collaboration with Levi’s in 2018, which featured a denim-themed Air Jordan 4, Jordan Brand is now introducing their own take on the denim style. The new “Worn Blue” edition of the Air Jordan 4 is set to drop this August.

The Levi’s x Air Jordan 4 made a huge impact when it was released in 2018, showcasing a rich indigo denim weave. This was followed by a jet black denim version in the summer. The release created a lot of buzz, with long lines at the Levi’s flagship store in San Francisco, as well as widespread excitement when it hit retailers. Sneakerheads were quick to customize their pairs, distressing the denim or experimenting with bleach and dye to make the shoes their own.

This summer, Jordan Brand offers another denim-inspired Air Jordan 4. However, this new version features a fresh take on the color blocking. The upper half of the shoe sports a light, washed blue, while the lower half is in a darker, classic indigo blue. The shoe also incorporates white contrast stitching, mimicking the details of a well-worn pair of jeans. Additionally, the TPU cage portions of the sneaker have been replaced with denim-like stitching, and a gold “Family” lace charm adds a special touch to the design.
