Aimé Leon Dore (ALD), the popular New York-based brand led by Teddy Santis, has built a strong partnership with New Balance since their first collaboration in 2020. For Spring 2025, the two are set to unveil a brand-new sneaker silhouette that promises to make waves in the sneaker world.
Since Teddy Santis took on the role of creative director at New Balance, the collaboration between the two has grown significantly. ALD has become known for debuting several New Balance models, both new and reimagined, in its seasonal collections. As part of this ongoing collaboration, ALD will introduce an exciting new silhouette for the upcoming SS25 season.
Teaser of the New Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance RC56
Recently, Aimé Leon Dore shared a teaser video for their SS25 collection, which included a sneak peek at the new sneaker. The video featured footage of ALD and New Balance reviewing samples of a fresh silhouette, which has yet to be fully revealed. The design of this shoe resembles the New Balance 1000 series, but with a simpler, streamlined shape. It features fewer panels and swooping lines on each side, giving it a sleek, modern look. The video showed off the sneaker in at least four different colorways, giving fans a taste of the versatility to expect from the release.
RC56 Release Information
Though the exact details of the release are still under wraps, the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance RC56 is slated for a Spring 2025 debut. Based on previous collaborations, the price for this highly anticipated sneaker is expected to be around $150.
This marks a significant moment in the history of both brands, as the RC56 will be the first time New Balance has designed an entirely new silhouette for one of their partner brands.
