CLOT’s collaboration with adidas has been one of the most exciting sneaker partnerships to emerge in recent times. After a long-standing relationship with Nike, CLOT, under the creative direction of Edison Chen, joined forces with adidas in late 2023. Their debut collection was an immediate hit, reimagining classic adidas silhouettes with a luxurious twist, and their innovative approach continues with the upcoming “Silk” Gazelle pack.
The collaboration began with the launch of a high-end, dress shoe-inspired redesign of adidas sneakers, and it hasn’t slowed down since. CLOT’s unique take on the Gazelle has been a standout, offering exciting iterations throughout 2024. Now, the latest release brings an elevated design with a focus on material and sole innovation.
The new “Silk” pack introduces a fresh twist on the Gazelle, borrowing elements from previous collaborations like Ronnie Fieg’s Clarks x adidas series. Featuring a chunky crepe sole instead of the standard Gazelle tooling, these shoes offer a distinctive look that combines comfort and style. The pack includes two colorways: a clean white jacquard version and a bold dark blue colorway with green and yellow accents. Both versions maintain the iconic Gazelle silhouette, but the crepe sole adds a layer of luxury to the design.
The much-anticipated release of the CLOT x adidas Gazelle “Silk” pack is set for April 19th, 2025. Priced at $160, each pair will be available through adidas and select retailers. The white and blue versions of the Gazelle will both drop on the same date.
