adidas has been steadily reviving its EQT and Predator lines over the past few years, releasing both classic retros and fresh new designs. This summer, the brand is combining the best of both worlds with the introduction of the EQT Predator Run, a new silhouette that merges the sporty appeal of the EQT line with the aggressive style of the Predator soccer boots.
The EQT and Predator lines both trace their roots back to the early 1990s. EQT was designed to offer stripped-down, essential running shoes, while the Predator quickly became the go-to boot for elite soccer players, known for its bold, fang-like Three Stripes. This summer, adidas is blending these two iconic models into one lifestyle sneaker, bringing retro style together with modern performance technology.
The EQT Predator Run makes its debut with a striking design that combines the simplicity of the EQT’s clean lines with the bold, sharp features of the Predator boots. The upper features smooth, flowing panels with a wavy pattern, and the aggressive Three Stripes from the Predator boot are prominently featured. The shoe sits atop a tall LightStrike cushioning sole, offering both style and comfort. The black and white colorway is enhanced by Aura Purple mesh and a reflective textile base, giving the sneaker a sleek and eye-catching look.
